There is different retirement low that are applicable to different countries. There may several laws pertaining to retirement of a person applicable in a particular country. A law that is applicable in a particular country may not be considered as a valid law in some other country. And there are some countries in which people are not allowed to work after retirement in some other governmental organization.

They can work for a private company or can start their own business but they cannot perform the same work today have been performing for one governmental organization before their retirement for any other governmental organization after retirement. Some of the retirement laws that are applicable to most of the countries are the retirement age. The retirement age may differ from one governmental organization to other governmental organization but the basic age of retirement lies between 55 to 60 years. It may be less in some organization.

A person can also file for an early retirement in case of sickness or some other physical disorder. A person who meets an accident or is suffering from some harmful disease can also be granted an early retirement from is work. There are some basic rules that govern each governmental organization that helps the employees to understand the benefits or the flexibility they have with their retirement plan. Some important rules or conditions are set which have to be met before a person can apply for early retirement from his job.
